TribePro Content Syndication

TribePro for those that do not know, is using the concept of leverage at it’s best.

In a nutshell, TribePro is a way for you to have your content syndicated to a large number of Social Network sites by other members (Tribe Members).

When this happens, you can get a HUGE influx of traffic to your content…. And that’s a good thing!

TribePro can also build up quite the number of relevant backlinks to your content or blog…. Another good thing!

I had been a free member of TribePro for quite some time, but I never really put a lot of effort into it.

The biggest reason for my lack of excitement about TribePro at the time, was because I was doing everything manually which took forever.

I don’t know about you, but my time is very valuable and as a free member the necessary time commitment was not worth the return I received.

So I set TribePro aside…. Until recently when I upgraded and became a paid “Plus” member.

As a paid member you get to automate the process. For me the return thus far has surly made upgrading worth while.

Here’s how the process works:

  1. You sign up to join TribePro. You can get a free membership to see how things work but to take full advantage of TribePro, you need to upgrade.

  2. Sign up for OnlyWire. You MUST have this if you’re gong to use the auto-syndication.

  3. You join one or more of the many tribes inside TribePro

  4. After getting everything setup, you start to follow and auto-syndicate those you follow via OnlyWire. And hopefully they’ll reciprocate and do the same.

  5. You add your content and boom, it’s syndicated by those tribe members that have chosen to share it.

(SIDENOTE: TribePro kinda works on a honor system, so if you would like others to share your content, please do the same and return the favor.)

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Since upgrading and having the opportunity to automate the syndication process, I can say that I have seen that influx in traffic to my blog that I mentioned earlier.

The image below is of my January 2012 cpanel traffic stats. I started using TribePro on the 24th a jump of 194 more unique visitors. I anticipate these numbers to increase as more tribe members start to auto-syndicate my content. Click to view larger image.

Increased traffic since using TribePro

But there is something else I’ve noticed and this is the part of this post that you need to pay attention too!

I strongly encourage you to really PAY ATTENTION to who you’re following and the content that you’re auto-syndicating….

Why?

Because some members of the tribe may be sharing content that is not related to your targeted market.

I’m speaking from personal knowledge here.

After checking several of my social networking sites, I noticed that some of the content that I had syndicated, was of no interest to my followers at all.

The other thing you really need to pay attention to, is the OnlyWire submitter.

Be sure that you have it installed before you start auto-syndicating other members content.

If you don’t….

All of those submissions will pile up in your OnlyWire queue and once you run the submitter, you can literally have hundreds of pieces of content being added to the various walls of your social networking sites within a matter of minutes…. NOT A GOOD THING!

OnlyWire is suppose to release the content every ten minutes or so but I don’t trust that to happen, based on what I’ve seen. Maybe I’m doing something wrong…. I don’t know.

So for now, I allow the submitter to run for 1 minute then I close it. That way it does not look like I constantly spamming the social sites with all of these links.

CONCLUSION

Is TribePro worth it? That’s something you have to decide for yourself. For me I’m impressed with the results I have had and as I previously mentioned I only anticipate them getting better.

As always…. Share you thoughts, I would love to hear them. And if you have found this post to be helpful, then please share it.

Later,

The Struggling Network Marketer's Best Friend

I have been a free member of TribePro for months so I was really interested to read this post and your thoughts. I can see where being premium member would make a big difference, but it’s unlikely I’ll make that investment and you pointed out the key reason – the audience. So many of the members are network marketers, MLM, direct sales, etc., that I just don’t see enough of a targeted audience for my personal growth niche. Thanks for the valuable review!

@martyinmaui @martyinmaui Marty there are members in others niches but its not even close to the number of Network Marketers.

If you ever do decide to upgrade I would say become a Pro member and start your own tribe. Bring in others from your niche and you all spread the love,

    Hi Anthony,

I’m wondering, is Tribe Pro, something similar to TSA? I like the sound of an “automated” feature, and I AM an MLM’er.

@grondak Hey Tom thanks for the comment! In theory yes its like TSA. The biggest difference is the automation and that there are multiple “Tribes” within TribePro.

Also because of the automation you won’t have as many members leaving comments the way you find with TSA, but your content does get syndicated more…. At least that has been my experience.

    Hi Anthony,

Great review of Tribe Pro. Being a member of TSA for the last year, I have found being in a tribe of great value. You meet so many wonderful people and get amazing information from them. I check out TribePro.

@JoyceEdwards Hey Joyce thank you for the comment. I agree 100% TRIBES Rock. Rather it’s TSA, Tribe Pro or another. And you’re right I have met a bunch of great people.

Your stats boosted up for the one day, but is it still as high or higher in your Webalizer stats as the day you started. My issue is that I do not want to pay for OnlyWire. I’d be interested in the free version. The monthly pricing is a bit steep. How many people are in their system to charge that price?

@blondishnet blondishnet Sorry about the slow response, just returned from a 4 day golf trip….

Anyway, yes my traffic significantly increased on the days I added a new post. But on the days I didn’t add a new post to TribePro, my traffic has more than doubled what it was prior to me using TP.

As far as the number of members, I don’t know the exact number but in just one of the tribes I’m in there are over 8,000. That of course includes free, paid, active and inactive members. But most of the tribes have at least 700 – 5,000.

I agree it’s a little pricey but I feel it’s been worth the investment. I encourage you to sign up as a free member and see for yourself what it’s all about.

Hey Anthony, Great review of Tribe Pro and I’m very happy to hear that you’ve noticed good results since upgrading last month. I have been with Tribe Pro for several months but only as a free member and like yourself not too long ago I haven’t really done much with my Tribe Pro membership. After reading your review I may take another look at Tribe Pro and increase my activities within their tribal communities. Thanks so much for sharing and for a reminder of this resource. Kevin

Hi Anthony, I have used tribepro in the past and it really help somehow to get more social votes and a bit of a traffic but the problem is that onlywire stop having a free version and you have to pay to be able to share others people content, if it wasn’t that I would still use it but right now I cannot pay for this. Anyway tribepro certainly helps especially if you are in the MLM industry, thanks for sharing…

@Kostas Chiotis Hey Kostas thank you for your comment. I hate the fact that you have to pay to use Onlywire now and I hate even more that with their lowest priced plan you only get 1000 submissions per month….

But it is what it is. I look at as an investment in my business and I fit it into my monthly business budget and like all the services I pay for, I’ll write it off as a business expense come tax time.

If you can’t fit it into your budget now I understand. I would suggest that you add some form of “Funded Proposal” in you business which will allow you to create some more capital to operate your business so that you’re not coming out of your pocket.
