In this post I’m going to share with you 11 hot places that you can go, to place Drop Cards in and create free leads for your primary Network Marketing business.
But before I do, I want to give you a quick update on the results I have had since I started using Drop Cards about 3 weeks ago.
Cards Placed: 82 total. Avg. 27 week
Opt-ins: 17 Leads (20%)
New Reps Sponsored: 6 (35%)
Now I have to add. I don’t go out with the intention of placing drop cards everywhere. But when I’m out and about doing my thing throughout the day, I’ll leave a card.
HOT PLACES TO DROP YOUR CARDS
- Book Stores – Leave cards inside magazines and books geared towards business people and entrepreneurs, such as “Home Business Opportunities”, “Entrepreneur”, “Rich Dad Poor Dad”, ect.
- Libraries – Self help books and magazines like the ones above.
- Gas Stations – Place drop card in the credit card slot of the gas pumps.
- Restaurants – When leaving a tip, place the card inside with the tip. But make sure you leave a nice tip.
- News Paper Boxes – When you purchase a newspaper from one of these boxes, you have access to every newspaper that’s inside the box. Place a card inside each and every newspaper.
- Real Estate Magazines – You know those publications that list homes that are for sale. Real estate people are excellent prospects.
- ATM – Just like the gas pumps, place the card in the credit card slot of the ATM. (WARNING: Don’t push the drop card all the way into the slot. Otherwise it will be sucked into the ATM.)
- Hotels – When you check out of a hotel leave a card on the bed for the personal that will be cleaning the room.
- Waiting Rooms – When you’re at the Doctor’s office, oil change places or anyplace where you’re in a waiting room, drop a card in the magazines that people read while waiting.
- Business Seminars – Business opportunity seminars at a hotel or some similar location. Place the cards on vehicles windshields… GOLD MINE!
- Vending Machines – Place the card in the dollar bill slot. Again being careful not to stick it all the way into the machine.
These are just 11 locations you can leave Drop Cards. Of course there are plenty others but these are the places I would recommend starting with.
If you have not order drop Cards yet, here is where I recommend getting them from: Realistic Dropcard.
There’s really only one thing I would recommend NOT doing and that’s ground large amounts of cards all over the ground. It is littering and can piss some people off. We’re not interested in making money not making people mad at us.
So go out, have fun with Drop Cards and start pulling in a ton of free leads and sponsor some new Reps into your business.
Later,

You know, I have always thought of doing something similar, specially with the business seminars, but I am very afraid of getting called out… you know, most hotel parking don’t allow soliciting.
I was smiling at some of the ideas. I would have never thought of leaving a card in the vending machine slot.
Just one more way to create leads. Thanks for sharing!

Cynthia it helps to think outside of the box with Drop Cards. Once you start paying attention, you’ll be surprised at the places you can leave them. As far as the getting called out, I just look at it this way, don’t be confrontational with anyone and if asked to stop, I’ll stop. Thanks for the comment!

Great ideas Anthony! I have to get some from you soon, and try that. I actually have 3 grandchildren who could assist in this.

Hey Lynda thank you. I never thought I would be marketing offline but these little babies make it fun.

Great list! With nearly a decade of direct sales experience behind me, I can assure any of your readers who may live in rural or small town areas that you can still take advantage of this type of exercise … with just a little different approach. I found coffee shops a great place to leave cards and even brochures – but I ALWAYS asked the owner or manager. Because I asked, I was rarely turned down and ended up building realtionships with the owners – which really came in handy when we ran promotions! Build relationships everywhere you go, not just with potential prospects. It’s against the law to drop cards, etc., in the post office – but because I became good friends with the counter staff, they encouraged me to pass out my cards and brochures when there was a long line. One time during the holidays when it was especially busy, one of the counter clerks actually shouted out to the people in line my name and the company I worked for – she’s great and so are their products!

Marquita excellent advise. Nothing better than good old relationship building! That’s what this industry is all about. Now that I have opened the offline door, I will be adding your tip of asking the owner to my list. Thanks for sharing!
