MLM Leads, something you obviously need if you expect to build a successful MLM business.

They’re also something that you never seem to have enough of.

Yes, some marketers are able to generate them on a daily and weekly basis by the thousands. While other less skilled marketers struggle to produce very few if any at all.

And just as diverse as those seeking to generate MLM leads. MLM leads themselves are just as diverse, in terms of their responsiveness and they are generated.

Or as I like to describe them….

The Good, The Bad & The Ugly!

THE GOOD:

• These are MLM Leads that understand what the Network Marketing industry is all about and they are HIGHLY responsive to what yo have to offer.

• These leads are the ones, you will receive the least amount of objections from if any at all.

• These leads have a history of PURCHASING MLM tools and training information. Or they are actively SEEKING it out.

• These leads are CURRENTLY involved in or have been involved in the MLM industry and they are the only leads you should be interested in marketing to…. In the beginning!

In order to obtain these leads, you absolutely cannot  market your MLM business opportunity to them up front. They’re not interested in another business. They already have one.

What they are interested in is information that can help them build their current business and a resourceful mentor or coach, who can provide relevant & valuable content, information and advice.

Once you are able to demonstrate  to they, that you are a “Expert”, “A Leader” and someone that they perceive to be of value…. Then and only then will they join you in your primary business opportunity.

THE BAD:

These leads are your “Warm Market”, better known as your friends & family.

• These MLM Leads usually don’t know anything about the Network Marketing industry…. Although, they like to think they do. As far as responsiveness, they are mediocre at best. A more skillful and experienced Network Marketer, will have a higher response rate.

• These leads will surely hammer you with objection after objection. Something nearly every Newbie will have a hard time over coming.

• These leads may have tired MLM at one point in their life but never put much effort into it. But they will have you believe that they are experts on the topics.

And in most cases, these leads are not interested in starting a business of any kind. But once you become successful, don’t be surprised if a couple of these leads ask to have a second look at your business.

THE UGLY:

These are leads that you purchase. They are a 99.99% waste of your time, money and energy!

Only Newbie’s try to market to these leads because they don’t know any better. Or because someone in their upline, who too, don’t know any better suggested that they should. 

• At some point these leads opted into “Some work from home and make millions over night” website, looking for a get rich over night scheme.

• These are leads you can get by the bucket loads and if you’re lucky, maybe 1 of them are worth a dime.

• These leads have had their contact information sold and resold numerous times, by various lead retail companies. And by the time you contact them they are so annoyed by all the calls they have received…. That they don’t hesitate to give you a good “tongue lashing” telling you not to call them again.

• These leads never have capital to invest in a business. That’s why they requested information about “Getting rich over night” in the first place. 

CONCLUSION

I’ve have personal experience with all the various MLM Leads I discussed. And I can tell you a lot of horror stories. But my point in all this…. Learn how to properly market and create your own leads.

As a Newbie to this industry or just as someone who has been struggling for a long time, you can save your save a lot of frustration and time simply by following in the steps of successful Network Marketers who have built big business.
